After debuting at The Dock on the Kingston foreshore last month, the unique dining experience is now at only its second home in the Canberra region, at the Lake George Winery.
The dining dome at Lake George Winery will start taking bookings from next week.
The owners of the Lake George Winery, Sarah and Anthony McDougall, are excited to have secured only the second dining dome in the Canberra region.
"Where it's sitting, it's a beautiful setting where you've basically got 270-degree views of the vines. It's like sitting in a glass dome, looking at a vineyard, on a nice warm winter's day," Anthony said.

The dining dome is surrounded by blossom trees, but, yes, there are gum trees in the area, which is easy access from Canberra and for travellers from Sydney, especially those on the way back from the snow (when travel restrictions lift).
"We're just off the highway so people can book in so they can enjoy a Sunday afternoon here on the way back to Sydney," Anthony said.
"And we get quite a lot of people who have family in Goulburn and they are in Canberra and they want somewhere nice in the middle."

The Dining Dome at Lake George Winery will be able to accommodate 10 diners at a time. They will have the space from noon to 4pm and there will be a special menu prepared by Create Catering, which is also responsible for the styling.
The Dining Dome is the brainchild of Canberra couple Tim and Elaine Purser, who first saw them while travelling in Europe some years ago.
Tim said the Lake George Winery was a perfect location to attract people from both Canberra and Sydney.
"It's a beautiful area and this is a wonderful opportunity for the two businesses to come together and showcase what can be done," he said.

Tim said the reaction to the first dining dome at The Dock had been amazing.
"It's been unbelievable," he said.
"It's going off on social media. So there will be more popping up in the near future.
"I think, firstly, it's an opportunity to have a unique dining experience without feeling like you're locked off into a dark room. So you're still in the open, you're enjoying the outside and connecting with nature but you're also safe, secure and warm, most importantly, inside the dome.
"But also the dining experience inside the dome is also unique. The curve of the walls, it actually feels very intimate. It's a very personal experience. And the good wine and good food help."
Tim said there was still a desire to keep the Dining Dome experience exclusive and special.
"We do want to remain exclusive. We don't want to flood the market and so our mantra is, 'Do less, but do them well'. So people actually have the experience and they want to share that with their friends," he said.
"We're not planning to roll out hundreds of these, but at key locations like The Dock and Lake George Winery, where the actual scenery is beautiful and you're actually able to enjoy it."
The Dock co-owner Ben Alexander said the dome had been a huge success and there were limited spaces remaining for winter.
"The patrons are loving it," he said.
