The accused, in his 30s, is not named to protect the identity of the complainant.
He initially denied the accusations but when he appeared in the ACT Magistrates Court briefly on Tuesday, he formally entered guilty pleas to two counts of intimate observations or capturing visual data.
A third charge - possess child exploitation material - was dropped.
Police arrested the man on December 14 following an investigation that began in late November when his housemate reported finding the camera.
Agreed facts between the prosecution and defence have not been tendered to the court.
In a previous statement, police said investigators seized his electronic equipment and found that it held 95 files containing intimate images of the woman.
Police said at the time of the arrest that those images had been obtained without the woman's knowledge across a three-week period in July and August 2020.
The defendant could face a maximum jail term of two years for each charge.
He was granted bail by police in December last year and remains on bail.
The court on Tuesday amended some of the conditions, including for him to engage with ACT Corrective Services leading up to his sentencing.
The accused, who pleaded not guilty to the charges on January 18 this year, is scheduled to attend court again on October 27.
