Smith required stitches after she split the webbing on her hand in the field during an 81-run loss to the Sophie Devine-inspired Perth Scorchers over the weekend.
But she looks set to play the Stars in Launceston, with the defending champions trying to remain calm despite being anchored to the bottom of the table.
"For us it's just not panic. It's still very early doors here in the tournament," Smith said.
"Hannah Darlington really brings that calm and collected head in and around this group. Hopefully we can get one win on the board which will hopefully bring a few more wins under our belt."

"I know we weren't in a winning position at all but I just thought I'd go out there and have a little bit of fun. I couldn't really feel the hand there in the moment."
