Popular campgrounds, wineries and national parks have been evacuated as an out-of-control bushfire continues to spread through Western Australia's Margaret River region.

Properties and lives are being threatened by the growing blaze which continues to threaten the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and Boranup Forest.
Redgate Beach, and the Mammoth, Lake, Giants and Calgardup Caves have been closed along with neighbouring campsites, including the Conto and Point Road sites.
Communities in Redgate and Witchcliffe have been affected by the fire with many choosing to flee once the blaze started growing on December 8.

Warnings are in place for residents south of Redgate Road, west of the park boundaries, south onto Sebbes Road and north of Point Road.
Those who have remained behind have been advised to close doors and window. If there is no clear path to evacuate, it is best to prepare to shelter inside the home.
It's understood the fire has already burnt through at least 100 hectares of land as it moves westerly.
More than a hundred firefighters are battling the blaze and water bombers have been deployed to the area.
"You are in danger and need to act immediately to survive. There is a threat to lives and homes," the Department of Fire and Emergency Services said on Wednesday.
"The alert level for this fire has been upgraded as the fire is escalating in heavy fuels."
An evacuation centre has been set up at the Margaret River Recreation Centre.
