Committee chaired by Sarah Hanson-Young called for media diversity judicial inquiry on back of Kevin Rudd Murdoch petition

Recently, the Senate standing committee on the environment and communications chaired by Greens senator Sarah Hanson-Young recommended the "establishment of a judicial inquiry, with the powers of the royal commission called for by Mr Rudd's petition into media diversity, ownership and regulation".
