The Glenfiddich Whisky Wanderer bus rolls into Canberra outside Molly in Odgers Lane

The restored 1972 Leyland Double Decker has been fitted out with a premium fully serviced bar, making the Whisky Wanderer a luxury lounge on wheels.

And it will be parked outside Molly in Odgers Lane March 7-19, with table bookings, private functions and walk-in spots available from 4pm daily.

There is also a range of special menus and food pairings from the Molly kitchen to complement your whisky experience and masterclasses are held on the upper level.

Ross Blainey, known as the @whiskyspecialist is the Glenfiddich and The Balvenie Brand Ambassador for Australia and New Zealand. Originally hailing from Glasgow he has more than a decade of experience in the liquor industry, and the Scottish accent we all want to hear when tasting a couple of drams.

"There's an undeniable and growing interest in whisky throughout Australia, so we want to bring a touch of the Glenfiddich distillery experience to Canberra," he said.

"The Whisky Wanderer is the perfect accompaniment for our wonderful liquid, and in true Glenfiddich style, we wanted to do something with a difference."

A series of exclusive masterclasses on March 11 and 15 will offer the ideal introduction for those beginning their whisky journey, and something new for whisky enthusiasts. During the ticketed tastings guests will learn about and taste a selection of Glenfiddich bottlings as well as hearing about the storied history of Glenfiddich.

The Grande Masterclass on March 11 is for the true whisky aficionado. Blainey will take you through some seriously top-shelf whisky, including the Glenfiddich 18-Year-Old Small Batch Reserve, Glenfiddich Gran Reserva 21 Year Old, Glenfiddich Grand Cru 23 Year Old and the Glenfiddich Grande Couronne 26 Year Old. Tickets are $360pp and Include the tasting on the Whisky Wanderer bus, Glenfiddich 12yr cocktail on arrival, charcuterie platter and a full bottle of Glenfiddich Gran Reserva 21 Year Old to take home.

The Single Malt Masterclass on March 15 is $140pp where Blainey will lead you through the Glenfiddich 12-Year-Old, Glenfiddich 15-Year-Old, Glenfiddich Fire & Cane and Glenfiddich Project XX. Tickets are $140pp and also include a cocktail on arrival, charcuterie platter and a full bottle of Glenfiddich Fire & Cane to take home.
