Emma took to social media to release a new video and her new character is just as bright and bubbly as we expected.
"Sing, Dance and Sign with me, Emma Memma and my new friend Elvin Melvin," she said via her Instagram post.
Watkins' new character Emma Memma still features the signature red, curly hair and she's still all-singing and all-dancing.
In the video she is wearing an orange dress and pink shirt, has butterflies in her hair, and she signs her name during the song.
"Come on and dance, come on and sign, join me in a musical storytime," she sings.
This is Emma's first glimpse of her post-Wiggles life and what's in store for the well-known children's entertainer.
Emma is currently juggling PhD studies in artistic integrations of sign language, dance and film editing at Macquarie University in Sydney as she launches the new character.
Lots of love for new character
Thousands of people have taken to the former Wiggle's Instagram page to praise the new character.
"We already watched it 10 times and my two-year-old love[s] it and says 'ghemma!'," one fan wrote.
"Gorgeous! I am so excited and also relieved to have you back on our screens! Heavenly! Congratulations Em," another fan wrote.
Another fan asked when her first live show will be.

Hanging up the yellow skivvy
In October, 2021, Watkins announced she was leaving the Wiggles after nine years of wearing the yellow skivvy.
The then 32-year-old said the role had brought her much joy and was so proud to have been the group's first female Wiggle.
"After 11 years of performing with The Wiggles, and nine of those years as the Yellow Wiggle, the time has come for me to pass the yellow skivvy on," she said at the time.
The yellow skivvy was then passed to 16-year-old Tsehay Hawkins.
