Sanna Marin, 36, is the youngest PM in Finnish history and took office after former PM Antti Rinne resigned in December 2019.
A compilation of clips showing the Finnish PM dancing and singing with her high-profile friends at a private apartment emerged on local tabloid Iltaheti on Thursday, sparking a social media maelstrom.
The tabloid also alleged a voice in the background of one video shouted "flour gang", which was alleged to be a reference to an illegal substance.
Centre party MP Mikko Karna tweeted that Ms Marin should be tested for drugs.
"The people are entitled to expect this from their prime minister," he wrote.
Responding to the accusations of drug use, Ms Marin denied taking any illicit substance and even offered to take a drug test if required.
"I spent the evening with my friends, partied, even in a rowdy way, danced and sang," she told reporters.
"I haven't used drugs, I haven't used anything other than alcohol. These are private videos and are not intended for the public."
Despite being PM, Ms Marin has maintained a healthy social life and attended Flow Festival with her friends on August 13.
Fans of the PM posted photos from the festival with Ms Marin, who seemed happy to oblige with picture requests.
While a partying PM might be a strange sight for the Finnish, it is likely a familiar one for Australians as PM Anthony Albanese is also known as 'DJ Albo'.
Mr Albanese was last seen DJing at an campaign event in Brisbane on April 3, 2022.
