With teenage children Hanna and Ciaran at home, Sarah's siblings arrive to help them deal with what has happened.
That becomes a tricky situation because Sarah caused a rift in her family after she got the home they all grew up in via a recent battle over the inheritance after their mother died.
So there's tension between siblings Den, Ursula and Claire - it looks as though this could be the first time in quite a while they've all been in the same room.
On top of that, Sarah's children have come to dislike Ursula in particular after hearing tales from their mother.
This is the first episode of the series and it's well worth getting in on the ground floor and watching now. Because it's a show people are sure to be talking about.
KITCHEN NIGHTMARES AUSTRALIA
7.30pm, Wednesday, Prime7
With Gordon Ramsey having his own Kitchen Nightmares on TV for several years, it's a little surprising that it's taken so long to come up with a local version.
Maybe the problem was trying to find someone as confronting and willing to yell at people as Ramsay is.
If that was in fact the case, then they gave up on that quest - and it's a good thing too.
Colin Fassnidge, host of this Australian version, is actually better than Ramsay.
He's far less shouty and sweary, managing to get his point across without berating the owners of the restaurant.
Well, not any more than they deserve anyway.
In fact, in this episode co-owner "Funtime Jonny" gets off very lightly indeed.

He and partner Katie own Sunshine Coast cafe Guru Life and they're in deep trouble. Their house is on the line; if the business doesn't work, then they have nowhere to live.
Though Jonny doesn't seem to be too concerned about that. He spends a lot of time mucking up and joking around with staff rather than actually serving customers.
And the food isn't that great either - though to be honest, you expect that in a show like this. If the food was good, then the owners wouldn't be up to their eyeballs in debt.
PARAMEDICS
8.30pm, Thursday, WIN
The cases we see being treated in Parademics are always dramatic - but this time they're more dramatic than usual.
Nicola and Risky turn up to a scene where a driver has sped across a multi-lane highway and ended up perched on rocks on the side of the road.
It's clear she's had some sort of medical episode while behind the wheel and is quite distressed, not really knowing what's going on.
Jodie and Nathan have to deal with a man who has just run through a window and appears to be having a psychotic episode.
There's the real fear that he could turn on them at any moment, which is why they're keen for the police to arrive.
Then there's Mike and Eamon who visit a home where a mother having a stroke, surrounded by upset family members.
