A 153-year-old rural building made world famous by Australian singer-songwriter Peter Allen is up for sale.

Tenterfield Saddler, a heritage-listed saddlery, sits in the original tin-roofed building in Tenterfield, 20 kilometres south of the Queensland border.
The blue granite building was immortalised in the song Tenterfield Saddler Allen wrote in 1970 as a heart-wrenching tribute to his grandfather.
Music fans continue to flock to the town of Allen's birthplace and former home to his grandfather George Woolnough, who ran the saddlery from 1908 until his retirement in 1960.
Hugh Jackman starred in the Broadway hit The Boy from Oz which is based on Allen's life and features the song.
The "quintessentially Australian" store has been owned and managed by a Brisbane-based family for the past 28 years.
Dianne Reynolds from Lloyds Corporate Brokers who is managing the sale said the family is unable to continue running the business due to ill health.
"This is an opportunity to save an iconic Australian brand and rebuild a business that is older than RM Williams and has a deep heritage," she said.
The land on which the saddlery stands was originally bought in 1858 by Sir Stuart Alexander Donaldson, who later became the first premier of NSW.
The building has been used as a bank, a private residence and a saddlery.
It was classified by the National Trust in 1972 and - apart from maintenance and essential restoration work - is reportedly in original condition.
