Senior Constable Kristian White has appeared in court for the first time after allegedly Tasering 95-year-old Clare Nowland at the Yallambee Lodge aged care facility in Cooma on May 17.

The Supreme Court imposed a bail condition that the police officer appear before the court in person when directed after he attended his last mention via audio-visual link (AVL).

Senior Constable White arrived at Cooma Local Court on September 6 to face charges of recklessly causing grievous bodily harm, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault.
The suspended police officer has not entered pleas to any of the charges.
He and his partner were silent as they stood with media outside the courthouse.
The prosecution told the court they were waiting on autopsy examination results and called for an adjournment.
The police officer allegedly Tasered the great-grandmother during a confrontation at the aged care facility.
She died in hospital on May 24 after fracturing her skull while falling.
Magistrate Roger Clisdell granted his request to appear via AVL for his next court date on October 4.
