Victorian-based model Ms Wilson beat out 23 other contestants to win the national title last week.
She will represent Australia on the international Miss Universe stage.
An ASIC media release from 2022 says companies linked to Anton Joseph Wilson and Melinda Jane Wilson had allegedly left creditors owed $45 million after failed property development ventures.
Last year ASIC disqualified the couple from managing corporations for five years.
ASIC found that Mr Wilson had managed multiple businesses while being disqualified from managing corporations due to being an undischarged bankrupt.
ASIC also found that both of the Wilsons had failed to ensure their business complied with ATO lodgment obligations and allowed one business to claim false GST credits and then use the funds for personal loans.
The total amount owed to creditors across all companies is estimated to be more than $45 million with approximately $21 million owed to the ATO, ASIC said.
Mr Wilson and Mrs Wilson are disqualified from managing corporations until February 7, 2027.
