A double USB power point sold at ALDI stores is being recalled.

Weak contacts in the power point has led to the product's recall due to the risk of "serious injury or death from fire or electrocution".
The Workzone Double USB Powerpoints have been sold at ALDI stores between May 27 and August 4, 2023, in NSW, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia and the ACT.
The affected products with the code 708521 have the model numbers RPOD10U-AA and RPOD10U-AC, and batch numbers 05/2023 or 07/2023.
The model and batch numbers can be found by removing the faceplate of the power point.
"Consumers should immediately stop using this product and either return the product to any ALDI store for a full refund or use a dedicated webform link to arrange for a free replacement," the recall notice said.
