A man has been arrested over the death of a woman found at a home in the regional Victorian city of Bendigo along with two uninjured children.

Emergency services were called to the Kangaroo Flat home following reports the 46-year-old woman had been injured just before midnight on Sunday.
She was found unresponsive by officers and taken to hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Two primary school-age children were found uninjured at the home.
A 44-year-old Junortoun man was arrested at a reservoir in Harcourt North about 5am on Monday with air-wing assistance.
He is in hospital and being questioned by police but has not yet been charged.
It is believed the pair knew each other.
A crime scene has been established as homicide squad detectives and major crime scene officers investigate.
