A sold-out Allianz Stadium in Sydney joined Williams in singing John Farnham's 1986 classic You're The Voice on November 16.
As the song rose towards the chorus Williams called out to the crowd, "Sydney, for John!".
In August, Farnham revealed he had been declared cancer free, 12 months after an operation to remove a cancerous tumour from his mouth.
William's Sydney concert also featured a marriage proposal in the crowd with the singer wishing the couple, Daniel and Lauren, "a lifetime of happiness together".
Williams' XXV Australian Tour includes two stadium shows at Melbourne's AAMI Park and 'a day on the green' shows in Queensland, Geelong and Western Australia.

It follows the release of his self-titled Netflix documentary series to coincide with 25 years of his solo career.
