The Padam Padam singer attended the UK music industry's biggest night to receive the BRITs Global Icon Award - the event's highest accolade - in recognition of her three-decade career.
But one of the most memorable moments came when the singer downed a drink from a stiletto at the request of the night's host Roman Kemp.
The British radio presenter said it would be remiss not to ask to do the "Aussie tradition of a shoey" with Minogue, while interviewing her in the audience.
Looking somewhat reluctant and making clear she had "never" partaken before, Minogue gave in as Kemp poured a drink into a pair of black stilettos before they said "cheers" and drank from the shoes.
It came amid a big night in the singer's career spanning "36 years and counting".
"There's a part of me that's still the 14-year-old girl in her room dreaming of making music and being in this industry," she said, accepting the Global Icon Award.
"Here I am with this [award] and anything's possible so thank you to each and every person who's been part of my journey."
The pop star performed a seven-minute medley featuring some of her biggest hits: Padam Padam, Can't Get You Out Of My Head, Love At First Sight and All The Lovers.
Minogue had a resurgence in 2023 on the back of her Grammy-winning viral hit Padam Padam, the lead single from her 16th studio album Tension which climbed to number one status in the UK and Australia.
She is also in the midst of a residency at Las Vegas club Voltaire.
