Strange, who was already contracted until the end of 2025, has been upgraded and extended until 2028.
The Raiders quickly moved to lock in their long-term future with the re-signing of Strange after an impressive start to the season.
Strange has been a revelation in the No.6 jersey, showing there's life in the Green Machine post Jack Wighton (South Sydney).
Canberra have already locked in young fullback Chevy Stewart until at least the end of 2026.
Parramatta halfback Ethan Sanders could be the next cog they land, with the Raiders now able to start negotiating with the 19-year-old.
While Strange has made a strong start to the season, he said he hadn't established himself in the Raiders starting 13.
He's scored a try, set up another and it was his break on Sunday night that set up the chance for Canberra halfback Jamal Fogarty to kick the winning field goal in their 21-20 win over the Gold Coast.
Most Raiders fans would see him as their long-term five-eighth now as he continues to develop, but Strange still felt he hadn't established himself.
"A little bit, not yet though. I've still got a lot of improvement to do and I know that. Mate, not yet," he said.
And the 19-year-old had a simple goal over the next four-and-a-half years.
"Win premierships. That's the end goal. I don't think anybody plays to lose so yeah, win premierships," Strange said.
He's part of a Raiders left edge that's also extremely exciting.
Strange has State of Origin second-rower Hudson Young on one side, and then the dynamic duo of Kris-X - centre Sebastian Kris and winger Xavier Savage - on the other.
The four have scored nine tries between them so far - more than a third of the team's total of 26.
Strange said it pointed towards good things to come once they truly clicked.
"Pretty excited. Once we get that left edge firing it's pretty dangerous - so excited," he said.
Strange was also excited to make Canberra his home long-term.
He moved to the capital at a young age, coming down from the family home on the Central Coast.
But he didn't hesitate about re-signing, stating he wanted to repay the faith the club had shown in him.
"It's become home. I've got a new family down here now so I'm very excited for what the future holds," Strange said.
"I love it here, mate. The faith that all the coaching staff and the boys have shown in me - I'm a very loyal person and this is a loyal club so I felt like this is a decision that felt right.
"Mum's down a fair bit helping me out so I still feel like I'm here with family a lot and who knows they might end up down here one day.
"I might relocate the whole family."
Raiders recruitment boss Joel Carbone said they'd identified Strange at a young age and his long-term retention was massive for the Green Machine.
"This is a very significant re-signing for us as a club," Carbone said.
"We identified Ethan at a young age and knew if we were able to get him to Canberra and into our system, we'd give him the best possibility to start his NRL career.
"Ethan has had a really impressive start to his NRL career and we're confident he will continue to grow with this group of players and staff around him."
