Doctor and journalist Norman Swan, famous for his coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic, has tied the knot to radio producer Katie Hamann on a Greek island.

Dr Swan's old friend, raconteur and writer Phillip Adams, posted a picture of the couple to his social media.
"The good Dr Swan - aka the King of Covid - persuaded me to join [Late Night Live] 33 years ago," he captioned the image on X.
"Congrats on your marriage Norman."
Dr Swan, 70, and his third wife Ms Hamann, a producer for Radio National, both work for the ABC on the Australia-wide public service broadcasting radio network.
The Glasgow-born Walkley award winner has hosted a number of programs on the ABC and the Coronacast podcast during the pandemic.
In 2023 he was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia for "significant service to the broadcast media as a science and health commentator".
